Job Description

As Homes Manager, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership and support to your teams, ensuring that they provide an excellent service to the people we support. You will be expected to work on rota as required and line manage support staff.

You should have at least two years’ experience and a thorough understanding of working with people in their own homes to have ordinary lives.

You will be skilled in all aspects of management and will have experience of managing staff teams. IT literacy and an ability to communicate effectively and appropriately; both verbally and in writing is required. This will include close working and communicating with key professionals. You will also be able to demonstrate tact, sensitivity and diplomacy when liaising with the people we support and their families. The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines is essential.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering flexible and personalised support that meets the needs and aspirations of individuals living in their own homes. In addition, you will also need to demonstrate a good all round working knowledge of current CQC legislation and housing-related support as well as a sound knowledge of budgets and time management.

A relevant qualification – NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable. Applicants will need be a car driver/owner.
