Expert by Experience in State of Care video

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) have launched their report “The State of Health and Social Care in England in 2014/15". CQC inspections show that quality improvements are possible and their report looks to understand what works and why.

As part of the launch the CQC have produced a short video featuring David Behan, Chief Executive of CQC, presenting some of their key findings. Rafik Hamaizia who is employed by Choice Support, in the role of Expert by Experience, speaks about his involvement on the video. Experts by Experience have direct experience of using health and social care services and take part in inspections of services with a CQC inspector.
