Rafik and his colleague Kim Arnold (Choice Support National Lead Experts by Experience) were panel judges at the 3rd Sector Care Awards for the following three awards :- Citizenship, Collaboration (integration), Community Engagement and were invited to attend the awards ceremony hosted by Esther Ranzen.

Rafik Hamaizia (far right in photo) works as an Expert by Experience for Choice Support.

Rafik said "It was a privilege to be part of the judging team in which I saw examples of great work being carried out all over the country by passionate people dedicated to helping others. The 3rd Sector Care Awards are key in giving these wonderful individuals their credit when due and raising awareness for some really innovative ideas within the sector by bringing people together to hear the positive things happening in today's society, in the hope that more people can benefit from them in the future."
