Choice Support is proud to sponsor the Association of Quality Checkers (AQC), a not-for-profit membership association for disability organisations providing quality checking services, which launches today.

At Choice Support we’ve been employing Quality Checkers since 2008 and have seen time and again the value of bringing the voice of experience into monitoring services. We’re proud to have played a part in helping the AQC form, and we will continue to support and sponsor it as it grows.”
Choice Support was the lead sponsor of the AQC during its formation, hosting planning meetings and funding its website. Four Choice Support employees including quality checkers serve on the AQC’s voluntary board.

The AQC website includes a searchable database of Quality Checkers, with profiles describing their experience, areas of interest and training. This enables you to find suitable Quality Checkers in your area. The site also includes news about new members and sponsors, links to disability campaigns, information to help Quality Checkers do their work, and details of events.
Suzie Fothergill, Chair of the AQC Board of Trustees, describes the AQC as:
“…one of the most exciting efforts to promote and encourage the work of Quality Checkers in health and social care services in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.”
