We have started the process of merging with mcch, under a new holding company and charity, Partnership Support Group (PSG). Both mcch and Choice Support are subsidiaries of PSG. Choice Support, mcch and PSG are managed by a team of directors, all of whom were previously directors at either Choice Support or mcch.

Sarah Maguire BA(Hons), MA, CIPD, FCWR
Chief Executive

Sarah has worked with people with learning disabilities since 1988, when she began supporting people with challenging needs to move out of long stay institutions. Sarah then worked as a training manager, pioneering new initiatives to take training into the work place. Following completion of her MA in Applied Psychology of Learning Disability Services, Sarah worked in several senior roles at Choice Support, including Director of Quality and Safeguarding, and latterly Managing Director, all the time supporting people to take control of their lives. Sarah is a Board Member of Learning Disability England, part of the steering committee for the Driving up Quality Alliance, and is a Board/founder member of the Association of Quality Checkers.

Debbie Bankole-Williams HND, FCCA, PGDip, MIoD
Group Director – Finance, Payroll and ICT

Debbie has worked in the social housing sector since 1990. Before this she spent two years working in local government. She worked for the Social Housing Regulator for some years before becoming a housing manager at a medium sized housing association. Debbie then held several finance director positions within the RSL sector at Hyde Group and Viridian, before moving to mcch in 2009. Debbie currently serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Hexagon Housing Association.

Group Director - Human Resources

Mark has over 20 years' experience of Human Resources in the voluntary sector, NHS and central government, and has worked for Choice Support since 1999. He has been associated with learning disability services since 1992 and sits as a member of the Employment Tribunal.

Group Director – Operations Learning Disability

Dave has worked with people with learning disabilities since 1985, becoming a Director at Choice Support in 2002. He specialises in providing support packages for people with severe challenging behaviour and training teams in positive behaviour support methods.

Group Director – Operations Mental Health and Autism

Mel has worked in mental health and criminal justice for more than 25 years. She joined mcch in February 2016 as Executive Director of Mental Health. Before this, Mel worked for the national charity Turning Point, where she was Head of Business Development - Mental Health, and for many years was the National Director for Mental Health at Carr Gomm.

Brendan has a proven track record of delivering outstanding business improvement results through a commitment to people and organisational development. He has more than 15 years' experience of financial management across a variety of sectors, and joined Choice Support in 2004.

Group Director – Housing and Development

Richard joined mcch in 2009, bringing with him over 20 years’ experience working in the housing sector. During his career he has worked in the private sector, in several housing associations and for local authority commissioners. Richard now specialises in the delivery and management of supported housing. Over the last five years he has led on capital recycling programmes with the NHS leading to the development of several award-winning schemes.

Ann White
Operational Director, Southern Region

Ann joined Choice Support in 2002. She has worked with people with learning disabilities for over 20 years in both health and social care settings. Ann has successfully supported several groups of people with disabilities to move from hospitals and registered care provision into their own homes. She is now supporting people to move into their own flats and access Individual Service Funds (ISFs).
