First Living Well Workshop

The First successful Living Well Workshop was organised jointly by our Involvement and Learning & Development team in Wakefield on 18th February.

The day was paid for by a donation from the Stephen Clark Trust and included workshops for people with learning disabilities on living well with diabetes, staying well in hospital, Jack and Josephine for men and women’s relationship and health issues and living well with exercise. There were many stalls run by local providers. Participants were from Choice Support and other providers in Wakefield. One of the objectives of these Workshops is to encourage new connections and lasting friendships.

There will be other Living Well Workshops organised across Choice Support which will be advertised over the coming year.
