A career with benefits
At Choice Support we understand the importance of a supportive, inclusive, and positive work environment. That’s why we offer a number of workplace benefits to all our employees.
Afterall, it is our dedicated staff that create so many opportunities for happiness for the people we support, so it’s only right they are supported too. See below to find out about the benefits we provide.
Benefits we offer
Employee assistance programme (EAP)
Choice Rewards
Our staff discount scheme, where you can make savings and receive cashback in a range of high street and online stores.
Time to talk
Regular online meetups to chat and offer support around various topics including the menopause, addiction, grief and loss, and mental health.
Wagestream
An app to help you manage your money, choose when you get paid and much more.
Mental Health First Aid
We have trained more than 350 of our staff to be mental health first aiders. This gives them the skills to support not only the mental wellbeing of the people we support, but also their colleagues, and themselves.
Inclusion networks
We have three Diversity and Inclusion networks, where employees are invited to discuss topics relating to protected characteristics and find support for issues they may be facing. These networks also allow other employees to learn about these issues that may not affect them directly. These networks are:
-Diverse Voices, to discuss matters of race, ethnicity, nationality, and religion.
-LGBTQ+ and Allies, to discuss sexuality and gender identity.
-Young Person’s Inclusion Network, to help younger employees develop connections in the workplace and find support.
Refer a friend
Choice Support regularly needs new support workers in most areas of the country. When our staff think they know someone who may make a good support worker, they're encouraged to refer them. And, if their friend gets the job, the referee has a chance of winning up to £500.
