Bank Support Worker
About the Role:
We are looking for a Bank Support Worker to join our Canterbury and Herne Bay Mental Health Supported Living Team. This role involves supporting tenants to develop skills that help them manage their home, work, education, and social life. You’ll be making a real difference in helping people build their independence and confidence.
Hours:
This is a bank role with scope to increase to permanent hours in the future. Hours being worked Monday to Friday shifts between 8:00 AM to 5 PM, with shorter hours on weekends.
Location:
You’ll be working across services in Herne Bay and Canterbury, with a supportive team environment. All services have free parking available and are easily accessible via public transport.
About You:
We’re looking for someone caring and approachable, with a passion for helping others. If you’re a good communicator, empathetic, and flexible in your approach, this could be the perfect role for you. Experience in mental health or social care is helpful but not essential—we’re more interested in your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
An interest in music, art and enthusiasm for setting up social activities and groups is also a plus.
