Female Support Worker
About the Role:
Join our amazing team, supporting in 4-bed shared house as a Mental Health Support Worker, where you’ll play a key role in supporting individuals with their everyday lives. No two days are the same, offering plenty of variety in your work. One day you might be accompanying someone for a fun trip to town to do a little window shopping and enjoy a tea and cake, and the next day you could be helping them with sorting out their finances.
We’ll provide all the training you need to deliver personalized support, following individual plans that are designed to meet each person’s needs and goals. Your focus will be on helping them develop essential independent living skills like personal hygiene, meal prep, exercise, social activities, and more—just the regular, day-to-day parts of life. There’s no personal care involved.
By supporting with everyday tasks, you’ll make a real difference in their journey towards independence.
Hours:
16 hours per week (2 shifts) across a 7-day rota. Shifts include either 7 AM to 3 PM or 2 PM to 10 PM, with weekend shifts required (2 weekends out of 4).
Location: Our service is based in the heart of Gravesend, just a 5-minute walk from both Gravesend Train Station and the bus station. Plus, there’s free off-street parking available!
