Female Support Worker
About the role:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated support worker to support a female individual with autism at the Jubilee Day Centre. The role involves assisting with a range of activities aimed at promoting independence and well-being, including:
Shopping trips, lunch outings at Wetherspoons, walks into Penge for personal shopping and café visits, day trips to local attractions and museums across London, trampolining sessions.
Your work will contribute to creating enjoyable, enriching experiences for the person we support while ensuring her safety.
Hours: 18.5 hours per week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM Thursday: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location:
Jubilee Day Centre, London Borough of Bromley.
About you:
To excel in this role, you will need previous experience working with individuals with autism. A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to the individual’s needs and preferences.
