Support Worker
About the role:
We are currently recruiting support workers in Basildon. We provide care and support to adults with a range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and complex needs.
As a Support Worker, you’ll deliver excellent care, celebrate achievements, encourage fun and creativity and engage directly with our wider community. This is more than just a job – you will be helping the people we support gain independence and live healthy, happy and fulfilling lives.
Your role will include:
o Providing personal care.
o Administering medication.
o Dealing with challenging behaviour
o Supporting daily living tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation and budgeting.
o Encouraging to develop skills and engage with their local community.
o Developing relationships with those involved in their care and personal wellbeing.
Hours:
Full time to cover the shift patterns:
Mon-Sun 7am-3pm, 1:30pm-9.30pm, 9.15pm-07.15am.
Location:
Pitsea, Basildon Essex.
About you:
This role is ideal for people committed to making a positive difference in individual’s lives, including experienced support workers, graduates and those seeking a stimulating career path into social care.
You do not need to have experience in care or support work. We will provide full training and induction to support you in your new role as a a support worker.
