Registered Manager
(Part -Time Position - 3 days)
About the role:
We are looking for motivated and diligent colleague to work as the Registered Service Manager for a registered nursing service.
This service is a home for 6 people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex health needs. The staff team comprises of assistant nurse managers, who provide clinical care over daily support needs, including nutrition and hydration, monitoring of vital signs, postural care, catheter care, administration of medication, including injections, suctioning and wound management. The team also comprises of support workers who enable people to live a fulfilling life, including support with daily tasks and community involvement. A Clinical Lead Nurse provides oversight and leadership of the daily care and support needs.
As the Service Manager and the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for:
· Driving clear outcomes and goals for the people we support, whilst being flexible and creative within a complex and ever responsive service.
· Supervising and supporting a nursing team to provide a high standard of care
· Providing strong leadership to a team of nurses and support workers
· Ensuring all staff adhere to support documents in relation to all aspects of people’s care and support.
· Overseeing compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
· Developing positive working relationships internally & externally with stakeholders, families, commissioners and CQC
Hours:
3 days a week (approximately 24 hours per week).
You may be required to work a flexible shift pattern covering a full range of shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Shift patterns are determined by the needs of the service and may be varied by management according to those needs.

This service is situated in Twickenham, London.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this role will meet the following criteria:
· A relevant qualification – RNLD/RGN or in the field of Health and Social Care at Level 4 or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care is desirable
· Minimum of two years’ experience of working with people with disabilities in a supported living or community setting
· Minimum of two years’ experience of managing a service and leading staff teams
· Have a good understanding of complex needs and the support people may require to lead a fulfilling life
· Understanding of Continuing Health Care funding as well as a sound knowledge of budgets and time management.
· Can demonstrate a good working knowledge of CQC legislation and Quality Statements
· A strong commitment to ensuring high quality support is being provided
· Compassionate, caring, observant and genuine within interactions
· Proactive within their responsibilities, ability to meet deadlines effectively
