Support Worker

About the role:
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to individuals with autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. You will support them to manage their day-to-day needs while encouraging independence, promoting well-being, and ensuring their safety in a respectful and person-centred manner.
You will be supporting 11 adults with a wide range of daily duties, from meal prep and cleaning to supporting with personal care. You will also be helping to take part in the people's interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. This can range from arts and crafts, nights out at the theatre, shopping trips, holidays and social occasions or whatever their needs may be.
Hours:
Shift patterns can vary widely – from long days (10-13 hours) to shorter shifts.
7:00am- 21:00pm
Waking night shifts 21:00pm-7:00am
Sleep in shifts 21:00pm -7:00am
Sleep in rate £32
Staff are expected to work at least every other weekend and 1-2 sleep ins per week.

This service is situated in St Helens, Hastings.
