You will be required to confidently manage challenging behaviours but will be supported and guided by senior staff members to establish appropriate boundaries, manage those behaviours effectively and nurture this person towards a positive future.
This will also include planning alongside members of family and the person’s circle of support to enable this individual to be happy, healthy and to be successful in achieving their wishes and aspirations. The gentleman at this service follows a strict routine therefore, time management, planning and preparation are hugely important. He also has limited communication so strong listening skills and good communication skills are needed.
We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the people we support feel safe, supported & listened to. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, please get in touch.
