Support Worker
About the role:

We specialize in supporting individuals with a range of needs, including mental health challenges, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities. We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and committed individuals to join our team as Bank Support Workers in Mansfield and Sutton In Ashfield. As a Bank Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals in line with their care plans. You will be part of a flexible pool of workers who will be called upon to cover shifts as needed, offering variety and flexibility in your work/life schedule.
A driver is required for these roles, as the people we support have their own vehicles to use.
Hours:
0 hour contact, currently paid at £11.91 p/h giving you flexibility to pick the shifts and hours to suit you and your lifestyle (once fully trained)
Shift patterns vary from day to day. Usual start is approx. 7am and day shifts finish at approx. 10.30pm – morning and afternoon shifts available
Sleep in hours are 10.30pm to 7.30am paid at an additional £65 per sleep in
Location: The 3 services are located in Mansfield and Sutton In Ashfield. NG17 & NG19
About You:
- Experience in care or support work is preferred but not essential (full training will be provided)
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and resilience to support individuals in their care.
