Support worker
We have a number of services across Maidstone recruiting support workers.
About the role:
We are currently looking to grow our already establish and dedicated team of support workers at Choice Support. We provide specialist support and care to people who have a wide range of support needs from learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex mental health needs.
This is a role with challenge, growth, and purpose at its heart. It’s a role that inspires others and brings your creative mind to life.
From encouraging and supporting people with social activities, to providing physical and emotional care, you will help the people we support to feel safe, secure, and well rested, ensuring they are able to face the day ahead.
No two days will be the same supporting people to achieve their very best. You will have a varied array of tasks whilst on shift; everything from cooking & cleaning, taking part in activities and games, managing challenging behaviours or relaxing with the people we support.
We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the people we support feel safe, supported & listened to. You will be supported and guided by senior staff members to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively and nurture the people we support towards positive futures.
Hours:
We have a number of roles available with full, part time and casual hours available.
Full time 39hrs per week.
Part time- 30hrs, 20hrs, 16hrs & 15hrs per week.
Location:
All services are based in Maidstone, all have easy access via bus/train or car with free parking available.

No experience is required as we provide full training and induction to support you in your role. All you need is to be kind, caring patient and respectful.
