Support Worker
Having a job is an important part of life, but people with learning disabilities and autism may find it difficult to gain work skills and find meaningful employment.
Looking for a fun, unique role where you can make a real difference? We’re hiring a part-time team member to support individuals with learning disabilities and autism as they develop valuable skills through their work at Tuck by Truck! 🌟
About the Role: At Tuck by Truck, we’re like a vending machine on wheels! You will help our employees prepare snack boxes full of treats and drinks, and then hit the road in our service van, delivering these goodies to local businesses. 🚚🍫 It’s all about building confidence and teamwork—you will play a key role in empowering our employees to develop skills for future employment.
✨ What You’ll Do:
Assist with packing and delivering snack boxes 🥤📦
Drive our van to deliver the goods to local businesses (so a full UK driving licence is a must! 🚗)
Help with stock checks and tallying money 💰
Support individuals in setting personal goals and working toward them 💪
While personal care isn’t usually part of the job, you may occasionally assist with it (like a quick trip to the toilet) 🚻
Hours: We’re offering 22.5 hours a week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 4:30pm—plenty of time for flexibility! 🕒
Location: We’re based at Quarry Wood Industrial Estate in Maidstone, there’s free parking!
About You: If you’re caring, patient, and love working with people, this role is for you! Whether you’re a support work pro or just starting out, it’s your values that matter most to us. We’ll provide all the training and support you need to help you thrive!
You will also be an advocate for breaking down barriers, challenging misconceptions about people with disabilities in the workplace.

We’re reviewing CVs as they come in and may interview and hire before the closing date, so don’t wait to apply!
