Service Administrator
About role:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Hybrid Administrator to join our team in Wakefield. This position combines traditional administrative tasks specialised in knowledge of social care practices and regulations. The successful candidate will work both remotely and, in the office/services ensuring efficient operations of strong administrative support, data management, and effective communication is maintained. A high level of confidentiality is required in relation to both the people we support and staff members.
- You will support with day-to-day administrative support to the team.
- Maintain accurate records of client information, care plans, assessments, and reports.
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and assessments with the people we support, their families and other healthcare professionals.
- Handle general inquiries from clients, families, and external organizations.
- Work with the People Team to support with recruitment and undertaking pre-employment checks for new starters.
*A driver is required for this role as you will need to travel to services across the Wakefield district.
Hours
22.5. Flexible. Monday-Friday
Fully flexible.
Location:
Hybrid role based in Wakefield. There will be some travel required to services in Featherstone, Pontefract, Castleford and Wakefield.
About you:
- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within social care or healthcare settings, is desirable.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with social care practices, systems, and regulatory requirements (e.g., safeguarding, GDPR) is an advantage.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, families, and colleagues.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using care management software or databases.
- Personal Attributes: Empathy, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and care.
