Bank Support Worker
About the role:
We are looking for bank staff to join our team supporting three wonderful ladies to live their lives to the fullest.
The three people we support have a friendly relationship with one another and with staff. They enjoy a variety of different activities, such as attending drama classes, going out to lunch together and Zumba.
No two days will be the same supporting people to achieve their very best. You will have a varied array of tasks whilst on shift; everything from cooking & cleaning to taking part in activities and games. We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the people we support feel safe, supported & listened to. You will be supported and guided by senior staff members to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively and nurture the people we support towards positive futures.
Hours:
Bank hours available.
Some regular shift patterns 8AM – 3PM, 3PM – 10PM and sleep ins.
Location:
This service is located in Peckham, Southwark.
Easily accessible by public transport: ten minute walk from Peckham Rye train station and near multiple bus routes.
Parking restriction between 9AM – 11AM, Monday to Friday.
About you:
You will be hard-working, with good communication skills to work well with the people we support, other staff, families and other professionals.
Your professional and flexible nature will allow you to positively impact on those who you support and the rest of the team around you, allowing you to flourish and develop in this diverse and rewarding role.
