Mental Health Support Worker
About the role:
Mental health support workers work closely alongside individuals living with mental health to help them cope more easily with day-to-day life as well as providing them with vital support in order to help them achieve their goals. From encouraging and supporting people with evening activities, to providing physical and emotional care, you will help the people we support to feel safe, secure, and well rested, ensuring they are prepared for the day ahead.
Where have several service within Nottingham which are made up of self contained flats. We offer daily support to people with mental health conditions who may also have other needs for which we provide support, this includes, alcohol and drug misuse, mild learning disabilities and ASD. You may be required to assist with personal care.
Hours:
39 hours per week on a rolling rota on a 3 weekly basis.
We are also looking for bank workers.
Location:
We have several services in Nottingham- NG3 1, NG5 2, NG6 0 and NG7 7.
About you:
We are looking for somebody with experience working with complex behaviours and with experience in the health and social care field. You must also have exemplary communication, IT, written and verbal skills.
Your professional and flexible nature will allow you to positively impact on those who you support and the rest of the team around you, allowing you to flourish and develop in this diverse and rewarding role.
