Public Engagement Network
PEN Advisory Group
The Public Engagement Network invites autistic people and people with learning disabilities to join our Advisory Group
About the Advisory Group
The Public Engagement Network's Advisory Group enables autistic people and people with learning disabilities to come together to share their experiences and opinions of health and social care.
A wide range of topics are discussed at Advisory Group meetings, including accessibility, receiving care, and giving feedback on health and care services.
Information and insights gathered from the Advisory Group are fed to the Care Quality Commission.
What is the Care Quality Commission (CQC)?
Care Quality Commission (CQC) is England's independent health and adult social care regulator.
Members of the PEN Advisory Group coproduced the video below to explain CQC's role and why it matters for people with a learning disability and autistic people.
