Ellen’s art: real & fantastical
Talented painter and sculptor, Ellen Prebble, has her work exhibited at the Hastings Art Museum and Gallery.
Artist Ellen Prebble, who is supported by Choice Support, recently exhibited a show of artwork at the Hastings Museum and Art Gallery. Her unique collection of paintings and sculptures is influenced by everything from the natural world to pop culture. Scenes are rendered in minute detail and bold colours, forming a record of Ellen’s world united by a passion for creatures and both the real and fantastical landscapes in which they might exist.
Her team is immensely proud of Ellen and her works of art. Ellen says: “I have the gift to see and bring out inner beauty… when people look at my paintings, I want them to feel amazed and fascinated.”
Studying art at Hasting College, Ellen has undertaken a number of commissions, and her work has been featured in exhibitions at venues including the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum in the Turner Prize exhibition (2021) and the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art (2023).
The art exhibition at the Hastings Museum was held for over two months and Ellen sold three pieces of art. Congratulations to you Ellen, and thank you for sharing your wonderful artworks with us.
