About us
What we do
Choice Support have been supporting autistic people, people with learning disabilities and those with mental health needs lead fulfilling lives for over 40 years.
We support people across the UK, from Hampshire and East Sussex in the south to Yorkshire in the north. We believe that everyone deserves a good life, no matter their needs. That means:
- Having a home of your own—whether that is living with family, friends, or living by yourself.
- Living life your way.
- Having control over your choices, including how you spend your money.
If you need support in any of these areas, we are here to help. We take the time to get to know you so we can plan support that is right for you.
How we support you
Whether you are moving home, managing money, or looking for friends or a relationship, we will support you every step of the way. We can help with things like:
- applying for benefits
- finding work or volunteering
- planning activities
- getting to health appointments
- registering to vote and understanding your rights.
Everyone is different, so we won’t assume what works for someone else will work for you. We can tailor our support to fit your needs, even if that means adjusting our services or creating something new.
We also work closely with your family, friends, or anyone else you trust to make sure you get the right support. Our Family Partnership Group specialise in this area. Read our Welcome Pack to find out more.
If we cannot meet your needs, then we will do our best to connect you with other organisations who can help.
Need to Talk?
Many families find it helpful to speak with someone who understands their situation. Meet our voluntary Families Ambassador, Lynda, here.
