Launchpad
Launchpad supports autistic people and people with learning disabilities to take part in community activities in the Havant area.
We offer a range of activities to fill your day, help you learn new skills, grow in confidence and have fun.
We have a planned programme of activities, which we change regularly based on feedback from people who currently receive support. We meet at the venue where we’re doing the activity, so you’ll need to arrange your own transport.
Here are some of the things we do.
- Keep fit class at the Bedhampton social hall.
- Arts and crafts.
- Cooking session.
- Running the Blue Moon Cafe: we bake cakes and make tea for people attending the Havant day service.
- Visiting the library and learning computer skills.
- Badminton and swimming.
Launchpad is great if you want to learn new skills and meet new friends. Jason, team leader
Can we support you?
Yes, as long as you are over 18 years old and you are an autistic person or have learning disabilities. You will need to pay for the activities, through your own funding or if you have been assessed for funding through your local council.
Once you’ve been assessed for funding, you can pay through direct payments. Contact us at our office in Havant, or speak directly to your social worker about a referral to us.
