Bank Support Worker
About the role:

We specialise in supporting individuals with a range of needs, including mental health challenges, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities. Our dedicated team are driven by their passion to make a real difference in the lives of those we support.
As a Bank Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals in line with their care plans. You will be part of a flexible pool of workers who will be called upon to cover shifts as needed, offering variety and flexibility in your work/life schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent support to clients in a professional and caring manner.
- Assisting with day-to-day tasks, ensuring individuals feel comfortable and supported.
- Contributing to the overall wellbeing of clients by offering emotional and practical help.
- Flexible shifts, offering you the opportunity to work on a bank basis, making it easier to balance your personal life and career
Hours:
0 hour contact, giving you flexibility to pick the shifts and hours to suit you and your lifestyle.
Shift patterns vary from day to day.
Location:
We have a number of services across Wakefield. These are located in, Castleford, Pontefract, Featherstone and Wakefield.
About You:
- Experience in care or support work is preferred but not essential (full training will be provided)
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and resilience to support individuals in their care.
Interviews to take place Wednesday 9th April & Thursday 10th April 2025.
