Female Senior Support Worker
About the role:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Female Senior Support Worker to join our team. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals in our care, making sure their well-being, independence, and dignity are maintained.
You will supervise and mentor the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. You will provide guidance and support to the team to ensure best practices are followed. You will lead by example in providing compassionate and person-centred care and support and assist in training and the development of new staff and support workers.
You will be working across two services assisting women with varied needs. This can be anything from preparing meals, cleaning or doing the food shop, to assisting with personal care (M&H ), medication, finances.
This post is restricted to women only as a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 paragraph 1, Equality Act 2010.
A driver with a full UK manual licence is required for this role.
Hours:
Full time 39 hours per week.
Location:
The two services are located in Crewe, Cheshire.
About you:
- Previous experience working in a support or care role (essential).
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a care setting (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature with a passion for helping others.
