Support worker
We are currently looking to grow our already establish and dedicated team of support workers in Sheffield.
About the role:
No two days are the same when supporting people to achieve their very best. You will have a varied array of tasks whilst on shift; everything from cooking & cleaning, taking part in activities and games, managing challenging behaviours and even putting your feet up watching TV with the people you are supporting. We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the people we support feel safe, supported & listened to. You will be supported and guided by senior staff members to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively and nurture the people we support towards positive futures.
This service is 2-1 supporting one person in their own home with all aspects of daily life. Going for long a drive or short walk and spending time in the garden are some of the activities that take place at this service.
Please note, a full UK driving licence is required for this role.
Hours:
Hours are varied. Early shifts starting at 8am and finish around 4pm. You MUST be able to work a mix of days and nights, this includes weekends.
Night shift- 4pm- 8am
Sleep rate is £65.
1 full time position available.
Location:
This service is located around 20 minutes from Sheffield centre. It has easy access via public transport and offers free parking.
