Senior Support Worker
We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to deputise for the Team Leader in our new Mental Health accommodation service in Nottingham.
About the role:
We are looking for experienced, motivated, Senior Support Worker to assist with the management of a new service in Nottingham. You will need to be committed to quality assurance and be able to assist with leading and developing the team. You will be working in a mental health supported living setting and be dedicated to undertaking the complex tasks of supporting people within their own homes.
As a senior support worker, you will work closely with the team leader and service manager to provide leadership and direction that ensures a safe, effective, responsive and well-led service that treats people with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect.
Good communication skills are a must. You will provide person-centred care and emotional support. This role is ideal for people committed to making a positive difference to individual’s lives, including experienced support workers, graduates and those seeking a stimulating career path into social care.
Hours:
Full time, 39 hours per week.

Nottingham NG5 1FD
About you:
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion about working within this sector and looking to make a real difference to the people we support.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6 months experience in a mental health worker role (ideally in a senior or supervisory capacity)
- A relevant qualification in the field of Health and Social Care at NVQ Diploma Level 2 (or equivalent or willingness to work towards it)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
