Support worker

About the role:
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to individuals with autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. You will support them to manage their tasks while encouraging independence, promoting well-being, and ensuring their safety in a respectful and person-centred manner.
We have 2 services with vacancies, one is supporting 11 adults with learning disabilities and the other is a 12 bed service supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. Your role with include a wide range of duties, from meal prep and cleaning to supporting with personal care. You will also be helping to take part in the people's interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. This can range from arts and crafts, nights out at the theatre, shopping trips, holidays and social occasions or whatever their needs may be.
Hours:
Full/Part and casual hours available.
Flexibility in your working hours is essential
We are also looking for Bank Workers.
Location:
We have 2 services one situated in St Helens, and the other in Belmont Hastings.

Your professional and flexible nature will allow you to positively impact those you support and the rest of the team around you, allowing you to flourish and develop in this diverse and rewarding role.
A driver with a full UK licence would be desirable for this role.
