About the role:
Our approach to support work means the people we are supporting can remain living independently in the home they love and feel most comfortable, surrounded by memories and treasured possessions.
At this service you will be supporting adults that live in 5 individual flats. You will support with all aspects of their daily lives, from community based activities, cooking, cleaning, in house activities, shopping and personal care. The aim is to assist them to maintain their existing skills and develop new ones as well as maintain their health and achieve ambitions as set out in their support guidelines.
1:1 support 24/7 and 2:1 support out in the community is required at this service.
Location:
The service is based in Gillingham and is on a bus route and close to the train station providing easy access.
Hours:
2 full time position available - 39 hours per week.
2 Waking Night positions available- 38 hours and 28.5 hours per week.
Shifts are rostered 7 days a week with early shifts starting at 7am and finishing at 10pm.
About you:
We are looking for someone who has a passion for caring and a positive outlook on life. Someone who helping people we support to learn new skills and assist with day to day living tasks. Ensuring the people, we support live their lives the way they choose.
