An Important Update about the Public Engagement Network
And how you can remain a member under the new supplier
As members of the Public Engagement Network (PEN), Choice Support would like to thank you for all your contributions, insights and most importantly for sharing your experiences — and the experiences of those you represent — of using regulated services in England.
Your honesty, insight, and commitment ensure that people’s voices are heard, valued, and placed at the heart of improving care.
Next steps for the Public Engagement Network
In December 2024, the Care Quality Commission decided to make the Public Engagement Network a separate contract and announced it as a public tender.
Choice Support did submit a bid for this new tender but unfortunately were unsuccessful.
We have congratulated the new supplier whose contract will start on the 1st April 2026. It’s only right that the new supplier announces who they are.

We want the Public Engagement Network to continue to grow and develop and hope that you will continue being an active member.
If you wish to continue to be a member of the Public Engagement Network under the new supplier, we will need to pass on your details to the Care Quality Commission. For this, could you please complete this survey (its only purpose is to gather your consent to share your details with the Care Quality Commission)?
