‘CQC Way’ Events in March

Thank you to everyone who joined the ‘CQC Way’ events held earlier this month. We appreciate your feedback.
Earlier this month, we hosted online events for PEN members and for autistic people and people with a learning disability to share your thoughts on the ‘CQC Way’ - Care Quality Commission’s newly proposed vision, mission and goals.
These are:
CQC’s Purpose
To make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality and continuously improving care.
CQC’s Vision
Works to make care safe, kind, and good by listening to people, working with care providers, and helping care get better.
CQC’s Goals
• Safer and better care
• Fairness in care
• Trust in care
• Learning and change
Members of PEN and the PEN Advisory Group for Autistic People and People with a Learning Disability helped shape the development of the above statements.
If you were unable to attend the ‘CQC Way’ events, but wish to share your views, please email us at publicengagementnetwork@choicesupport.org.uk and we will pass your feedback to CQC. Thank you.
