Our New Focus Groups

We are delighted to announce that we are creating new Focus Groups within the Public Engagement Network.
The Focus Groups will enable people who have had similar experiences in accessing health and social care services to come together in focussed areas of discussion. These may focus on a local area, a specific type of health and social care service, or a protected characteristic.
The group sessions will also offer the chance for you to network and connect with other members, share any current or upcoming projects and/or research and give feedback to CQC with the aim to make improvements to health and social care across England.
Individuals who members work with or support who attend will also receive high street shopping vouchers as a thank you for their involvement.
Beyond Pride
Today in the final day of Pride Month 2023, and we value hearing from LGBT+ people beyond just this month.
Therefore, our first Focus Group session will be for those who work with or support people from LGBT+ communities (age 18+) on the topic of Accessing and navigating primary and secondary care services.
The session will be held via Zoom on Thursday 27th July at 1:30 – 3pm. There are only a few spots left, so please email us to book your place. We look forward to seeing you there!
